1package8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry
24mini sausages or cocktail wieners
1eggbeaten (for egg wash)
Optional: sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping
Optional: mustardketchup, or dipping sauce
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Dough:
Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles (or rectangles if using puff pastry).
Wrap the Sausages:
Place one mini sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll toward the point, enclosing the sausage completely.
Brush with Egg Wash:
Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden, shiny finish. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
Serve:
Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
