Ingredients

  • 1 package 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry
  • 24 mini sausages or cocktail wieners
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping
  • Optional: mustard ketchup, or dipping sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Dough:
  • Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles (or rectangles if using puff pastry).
  • Wrap the Sausages:
  • Place one mini sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll toward the point, enclosing the sausage completely.
  • Brush with Egg Wash:
  • Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden, shiny finish. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
  • Bake:
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
  • Serve:
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
