Prepare Strawberries:
Wash strawberries and pat completely dry. Moisture will prevent chocolate from adhering properly.
Melt Chocolate:
In a heatproof bowl, melt semisweet or dark chocolate using a double boiler over simmering water, or microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip Strawberries:
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Let excess chocolate drip off. Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Optional Drizzle:
Melt white chocolate in a similar manner and drizzle over coated strawberries using a spoon or piping bag for decoration.
Optional Toppings:
Before chocolate sets, sprinkle toppings like crushed nuts, sprinkles, or coconut flakes over the strawberries.
Chill:
Refrigerate strawberries for at least 30 minutes to allow chocolate to set completely.
Serve:
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy as a dessert, snack, or gift treat.
