Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce like Frank’s Red Hot
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing for more tang
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix base – In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing until smooth.
  • Add chicken & cheese – Stir in shredded chicken, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, and all the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
  • Transfer to baking dish – Spread the mixture evenly into an 8x8-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  • Top & bake – Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and heated through.
  • Garnish & serve – Top with green onions if desired. Serve hot with chips, celery, or bread.
